Meteor 350 touring setup & rides from Pune

My touring setup
I use Royal Enfield's genuine Long Haul Panniers for the Meteor 350 (KXA00254) on the matching pannier rails (KXA00046), with waterproof inner bags (KXA00081). Royal Enfield sent me these accessories as part of its Genuine Motorcycle Accessories programme. They add a lot of storage for weekend trips without changing how the bike feels on the highway.
Pune to Diveagar & the Konkan
Riding to Diveagar via Tamhini Ghat is one of the best weekend rides from Pune – ghat curves, then coastal roads and quiet beaches. Start early to clear the ghat before traffic, and avoid riding the ghat after dark in the monsoon.
Short rides near Pune
Mulshi and Tamhini, Thokarwadi dam near Kamshet, and Panshet are all easy half-day rides, especially beautiful from July to October.
